RISK/REWARD A new documentary about the women of Wall Street

A smash sellout at the 2003 Tribeca Film Festival, RISK/REWARD, is a
fresh and fierce take on the women of Wall Street.

RISK/REWARD takes us inside the lives of a group of charismatic,
tenacious businesswomen during one of the most tumultuous years on
Wall Street - 2001.  Meet four women unlike any characters you've seen
on television or in movies before:  Louise Jones, a self-made NYSE floor
broker who went from a housing development to head of her own firm; top
equity research analyst Carol Warner Wilke, whose competitive spirit is
as electric as any Olympic champion's; Kimberley Euston, a sought-after
foreign currency trader and mother to 18-month old twin boys; and Umber
Ahmad, a freshly-minted investment banker with a dream to use the
influence of her job for positive change in the world.

Each of these women finds herself in the high-stakes game of life and
work, relishing the freedom of financial independence and thriving in the
competitive arena of high finance - while ever mindful of the downside of
an industry that is notoriously unforgiving of one's personal life. In their
pursuit of success, these women negotiate a complex maze of
million-dollar transactions, new babies, weakening financial markets,
family demands, intense competition, personal doubts, and the terrorist
attacks of 9/11, all the while honestly analyzing, celebrating, and
questioning the trade-offs of life and work faced by women everywhere.
Going beyond the usual occupational and gender issues, RISK/REWARD
is a ride along the ambition curve.

Executive produced by Peter Gilbert, producer of the award-winning
Hoop Dreams and Vietnam, Long Time Coming, RISK/REWARD
explodes stale media clichés of women who work and creates a powerful
portrait of the realities of women, work, family and feminism.
