WWB Panel Discussion on "What the Busy Woman Needs
to Know About Staying Healthy."  At the Bronxville
Library (201 Pondfield Road) in the Yeager Room

We had a fascinating panel on tips for the busy woman on staying
healthy.  We all know this is an important issue, but, caught up in juggling
jobs, activities and home life, we often put our own personal mental and
physical health on the back burner. We devoted the evening of  to hear
from a panel of specialists in nutrition, psychology and medicine about the
major issues we need to focus on to stay vibrant and healthy.

Dr. Araxi P. Macaulay prevention researcher and epidemiologist, Dr.
Anca Moscatello, oncologist and founder of a medical spa,  Jacqui
Justice, nutrionist, and  Dr. Mary J. Giuffra, psychotherapist explored
a variety of health issues in a panel format so WWBers can better
address symptoms and take preventative measures to maintain their
physical and mental well being.

Specifically, Dr. Macaulay will provided an overview of menopausal and
hormonal changes and their impact on women’s health; Dr. Moscatello
focused on the impact of preventative treatment in reducing the risks of
chronic disease and aging; Jacqueline Justice offered tips on how the
right nutrition can reduce stress; and Dr. Giuffra will explore how to better
manage the variety of competing expectations placed on women daily.

The four panelists provided 10 minutes of formal remarks followed by a
question and answer session.  As always, there will be time for mingling
and refreshments will be served.
