Welcome to the WWB Network's Website

The purpose of the Working Women of Bronxville (“WWB”)
Network is to provide an organized forum for working women and
women seeking to re-enter or stay in touch with the workforce to
meet, connect and network with other women in our local
community on topics of mutual interest.

The group was started in September 2003.

Upcoming Events for 2008 --

~ For 2008, the WWB will be sponsoring the following events ~

March 11th:  Dinner at Wild Ginger (Coordinated by Barbara Biel &
Josyane Colwell, with table conversation facilitated by interesting
WWB members on the following topics:

  • Re-Engineering Your Wardrobe to Build Your Personal
    Franchise (Facilitated by Mallory Andrews, SVP, Sales
    Promotion, Marketing, & PR, Bergdorf Goodman and Marlene
    Lee, Senior Manager Women's Technical Design, Banana
    Republic)

  • Managing Professional and Personal Transitions (Facilitated
    by Dr. Mary J. Giuffra, Clinical Psychotherapist)

  • What to Anticipate as Your Child Enters Elementary, Middle
    and High School - - The Tips You Wish You Would Have
    Known Sooner. (Facilitated by Barbara Biel, Senior Managing
    Director at Bear, Stearns & Co., mother of Emma 9th grade &
    Sarah 12th grade, in concert with Dr. Kate Hunke, Director of
    Anesthesia Clinical Services, NYU School of Medicine and
    mother of Matthew 5th grade and Sara 8th grade)

• 4th Grade Annual Bronxville Elementary Career Panel (Event
Chairs: Chantal Simon & Lisa Giuffra Diaz) – Date  & Panelists to
be Announced Soon

• Late September / Early October Continued involvement in the
Annual Jeanne A. Petrek Breast Cancer Walk

• November: Annual Mixer  (Event Sponsors: Araxi Macauley &
Pauline Brown) – Date, Theme and Venue to be Announced
